Dr. Julius A. Lecciones has formally resigned from his position as Executive Director of the Tropical Disease Foundation, Inc. (TDF) effective January 5, 2026, to return to teaching and clinical practice, and pursue research interest in childhood cancer.
To ensure continuity of leadership and operations, Dr. Roberta C. Romero has been appointed as Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Foundation. Dr. Romero will provide guidance and oversight while transition arrangements are being completed.
“We are grateful to Dr. Lecciones for his service and commitment to TDF’s mission,” Dr. Romero said. “We wish him success in this next chapter of his professional journey.
