Dr. Claver P. Ramos is a distinguished Filipino nephrologist with extensive experience in kidney transplantation and clinical nephrology. He is recognized as a pioneering figure in the development of kidney transplant services in the Philippines and served as the first Executive Director of the National Kidney Foundation of the Philippines (now the National Kidney and Transplant Institute), where he helped establish and advance the country’s national kidney transplant program.
A graduate of the University of the Philippines, he completed his residency at the Philippine General Hospital and pursued further training at Boston University and the University of Washington. He is a practicing nephrologist affiliated with Makati Medical Center and Asian Hospital and Medical Center and holds board certification from the Philippine Specialty Board of Nephrology.
Dr. Ramos has been a Board Member of the Tropical Disease Foundation, Inc. since 1987 and continues to contribute his expertise in advancing health programs and clinical excellence in the Philippines.
