(TDF), presented the outcomes of the recently concluded Active Case Finding (ACF) Project at an event hosted by FHI 360. Dr. Lecciones led a pioneering initiative utilizing AI-driven x-ray imaging for proactive case detection in Quezon City and Caloocan City, Philippines. His report illuminates the innovative methodology employed by Dr. Lecciones and his team to exploit technology for early identification and diagnosis of various medical ailments via x-ray analysis.
The TDF ACF team's efforts represent a monumental leap forward in medical imaging and healthcare delivery. Through the integration of artificial intelligence, TDF has showcased the potential of AI technology to transform the timely detection and diagnosis of Tuberculosis, resulting in enhanced patient outcomes and streamlined healthcare practices. This project entitled “Provision of Primary Health Care Services Including Tuberculosis Screening and Promotion Of Healthy Habits in Urban Poor Communities in Caloocan City and Quezon City” received funding from FHI360 under the USAID TBIHSS. The AI-base X-ray technology used the AXIR –CX V2.5.0 system (Radisen, South Korea).
